Share the Beat
In 2006-2007, VGA provided comprehensive event management, fundraising and marketing services for "Share the Beat," a benefit presented by the Los Angeles-based James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness (JRI) and the Omaha-based University of Nebraska Medical Center. The goal of the event was to raise awareness and support for organ donation.

Held at the Joslyn Art Museum's Witherspoon Hall, the special evening featured the participation of James and Robert Redford, performances by headliner Tim McGraw and sets by Phil Vassar, Rivers Rutherford and Alana Grace. James Denton, from the hit series Desperate Housewives, served as the evening's celebrity host.

"Share the Beat Omaha" attracted a sell-out crowd of nearly 1,000 and netted more than $160,000 to fund transplant awareness initiatives and programs. The event also generated significant local, regional and national media coverage.

Annie Aft,
Executive Director, James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness
The dedicated and professional staff of Vic Gutman & Associates helped make Share the Beat Omaha our most successful event to date. VGA increased media exposure about our event and the importance of saving lives through organ donation. We appreciated VGA's attention to detail as they worked hard to make our talent and guests feel at home. It was a great partnership!.
