Central High School is celebrating its 150th anniversary during the 2009/2010 school year and, in honor of this milestone, VGA help conceive a campaign to raise $750,000 for Central’s programs, the Foundation’s umbrella organizations, and several commemorative projects. The fundraising campaign spans three years, between Spring 2008 and Spring 2010. At the conclusion of the second year (March 2009), VGA had successfully assisted in raising $650,000 toward the $750,000 goal.
In conjunction with the fundraising campaign, VGA also helped develop two annual events—“Rock the Nest” and “Feather the Nest”—to engage the Central High School community and its supporters. VGA coordinated these events in 2008 and 2009, and will do so in 2010.
