VGA provides marketing, public relations and logistical support for Girls Incorporated of Omaha's annual "Lunch for the Girls" events. Each year, VGA has developed a media campaign to promote the event, highlighting the accomplishments of the event's keynote speakers such as President Bill Clinton, Senator Barack Obama and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.
VGA also arranges interviews with local television and radio stations. To ensure strong "day of" coverage, VGA has coordinated media conferences, when possible, and always sets up a special media area at the event, arranging for credentials and special photo opportunities working within specific security regulations.
Our efforts have consistently produced sell-out or near sell-out events and have raised more than $400,000 for Girls Incorporated of Omaha over the past three years.
